To be quiet honest the Eddy was a disappointmen...:)
To be quiet honest the Eddy was a disappointment on many aspects : the gangster story is very weak and feels like a bad deja vu all through the episodes. And the two main characters of Father and daughter played by Andre Holland and Amandla Sternberg come off as vividly annoying and too self-centered compared to all the other characters who show a lot more dignity or trouble in their sobriety. Those two arcs were just awfully written.
That being said, the music is great, the actors too and the third episode about how Leila Bekhti's character goes through at a funeral is just MAGICAL. This one and the 55 minutes about how the bassist reconnects with a lost love, stand alone on their feet perhaps because they're separable from that awful murder story. Anyway, I'm impatient to hear your thoughts about it as I love your reviews :)))
lots f love ^^
I.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13372093.post-23106979958668094632020-07-03T07:36:52.010-04:002020-07-03T07:36:52.010-04:00:)
