Everything You Ever Need To Know About Life...

 ... you can learn from:

Dog Day Afternoon (1975)

Sonny: Kiss me.
Moretti: What?
Sonny: Kiss me. When I'm
being fucked, I like to get kissed a lot.

The great Sidney Lumet was born 102 years ago today.
What's your favorite Lumet film that's not this or Network?
I have a real soft spot for Deathtrap but then, you know, gay.

BEFORE THE DEVIL KNOWS YOU'RE DEAD popped into my head right away. I don't even know if that's my true answer, but there you go.

  2. I've used that line so many times. Another favorite has been "You're too short to speak to me like that!" from ALL ABOUT EVE. Probably why I've been fired more time than I can count.

  9. Garbo Talks (1984). One of my all-time favorites, and so underrated!

  10. I also should go with Dog Day Afternoon. I admit I’ve never seen The Group, starring a sensational girl wild bunch from the sixties. I share the soft spot for Deathtrap, especially the “take no prisoners” over-the-top supporting turn by Dyan Cannon
