I just realized last night that I have been derelict, positively derelict I tell you, in my duties of reporting on the fact that Synonyms actor Tom Mercier's Instagram account has absolutely been Must Watch TV during these plague days -- he's spent the last several weeks literally crawling up his walls (see below) but unlike me he's done it half to mostly naked while also looking like Tom Mercier. The skills! Seriously though he's proven himself a totally endearing goofball, on top of all the talent (and other gifts) he showed off in Synonyms -- clearly I already couldn't wait to see his upcoming series for HBO with Luca Guadagnino, but now, like, really for real real. Really. Cannot wait.
