Good Morning, Gratuitous Freddie Fox

.
I think you'll forgive me for thinking that Freddie Fox (who is turning was 29 today) one of the twinks in Dunkirk - he's got the look! No he's one of the like three stray British twinks that didn't make the Dunkirk cut but that's okay - he was in King Arthur with Charlie Hunnam. Those two actually have a funny gay connection (not that I don't think, although I certainly dream it)...

... Charlie of course got his start on Russell T. Davis' show Queer as Folk back in the day - Freddie meanwhile found his footing on Davies' more recent exploration of Gay Life Today, the connected series called Cucumber and Banana. I still haven't watched these, much to my shame, but now that I've given Freddie's scenes a good hard look (as you'll see down below) I think it's high time I did.

Anyway unto every generation is born a mean-eyed twink and Freddie gives me total Jude Law vibes in that regard - I suppose that might be the fact that the both of them played the Bosie to an oscar Wilde; Freddie played him on stage opposite Rupert Everett in The Judas Kiss (hey look that's him opposite Tom Colley above - we did a big post on him too). Anyway back to the gay stuff - hit the jump for several dozen gifs of the birthday boy...

I always think it's him doing the part of Tom Hardy's side piece next to Taron Egerton on Legend. Coincidentally, the actor that does play the side piece part IS on Dunkirk.
