Let's hope somebody with better giffing skills than I've got can lighten this scene up from David Fincher's Mindhunter - which just dropped on Netflix today! - better than I can, but we'll make do with this for now. But seriously, I saw the first two episodes on Wednesday night thanks to NYFF and I want you to picture this on a gigantic screen!

I know I'm a bad gay for saying this but half way through the first episode I kept telling the hubby "I'm just not buying Groff as a straight guy. His girlfriend is more like the fag hag he fucks to keep happy." By episode 2 I was buying more into his character as a nebbish intellectual who's just not as rough and tumble as the other FBI agents. I love that an out gay man can play straight (Luke Evans does a fine job in this department) and I will keep watching Mindhunter hoping that Groff will convince me they didn't make a mistake in the casting of his role.
