I got yelled at last week (and rightly!) for not posting the news that Call Me By Your Name had gotten a release date, so first things first -- Call Me By Your Name is coming out on November 24th, 2017. And yes it sucks that we all have to wait until Thanksgiving - I couldn't agree more. Even moreso because I doubt it will play NYFF in October since at that point it will be super played out, festival-wise, so I'll have to wait another month alongside the rest of you. BOO.
But on to the news we're actually here to share today -- director Luca Guadagnino's other 2017 movie we've been avidly following is his remake of Suspiria with Tilda Swinton & Co, and he's just finished shooting says IndieWire, and there's a chance he might actually have the film out this fall! That'd be a lot of Luca to love.

what are your thoughts on recent comments by the film maker that they won't be doing any of the primary candy hue argento colors?
