I've never seen this picture of Gary Cooper with his wife (far right) and the actress Dolores del Rio before and I love it! Oh to be a dead fly on that pool. This was taken some time in the 30s, at the same time as the below picture which i have seen before but hey it won't hurt posting it again...
I just watched FRIENDLY PERSUASION today. I love that movie it's so sweet and Cooper is gorgeous. It's fun to watch him play a nice Quaker man. There's even a part where in the morning it's obvious he and his wife had a night of sex. It's lovely the way they had to get it across in 1959. I even like the theme song sung by Pat Boone. William Wyler at his best.
