The pilot looked like a commercial for Theroux hotness. He jogged, he was in a towel, in cop uniform, in underwear, (very briefly) half naked (right cheek) while in a flashback, fucking someone....
The silent cult in white that writes everything (so visual, huh!) and who smokes to show their faith (!!)cracked me up unintentionally. In general, the whole thing reminded me too much of Flasforward. Supernatural phenomenon which seems to be related to some dark organization and that is investigated by a hot guy with family issues.
Unless Theroux is naked in every episode, I'll pass.

Oh, I love it. It's atmospheric and almost plotless and that's what I like about it.
