--- Jane's Boyd - I feel like everybody's going to be jumping on the Boyd Holbrook train soon enough - he keeps lining up good projects, and being very handsome while doing so. We've just seen him sporting a sexy stache and stealing Liberace away from Matt Damon in Behind the Candelabra, and now he's signed on to play Ewan McGregor's lil' brother in Musical Chairs: The Movie I mean Jane Got a Gun, that neo-western with Natalie Portman, which is currently shooting.
--- Gay Less - Speaking of the Liberace movie, I guess a bunch of studio-heads pushed back against Steven Soderbergh's claim that it was "too gay for Hollywood" - Mother Jones reached out to Soderbergh for a response and got the most deliciously sarcastic reply to their accusations from the director.
--- Big Monkeys - I can't even imagine seeing The Wizard of Oz in IMAX 3D, can you? That seems crazy, but it will be a reality come September. Anyway I know The Wizard of Oz
is a special case but I hope this leads to more old movies on big
screens in wide release, I really don't get why the studios don't do it
more often. Especially now with digital distribution - this isn't going
to cost them anything, and they'll make so much money.

--- Nurse Maya - Oh this is awesome and long overdue news - Maya Rudolph has finally joined the cast of one of her babydaddy's flicks! She's now in Paul Thomas Anderson's Inherent Vice - she's been spotted on the set in a nurse's get-up (looking very very pregnant with her boss' baby, at that).
--- Mutant Times - Bryan Singer continues to tweet from the set of the next X-Men movie, EW rounded up a couple of recent ones plopping us down in the period (Vietnam! Nixon!) - unfortunately he has yet to snap any pictures from Michael Fassbender's fittings though. I'll just assume he's waiting to reveal the BIG surprises until closer to the film's release.

So lets talk about Hellbenders. So am I to understand that a movie with Clancy Brown and Clifton Collins Jr in it about sinning priests sending demons back to hell doesn't have a US release date?!?!?! What is wrong with us as a society? This looks awesome! We made Philip Philips happen. We made Bieber happen. We can at least make this happen! Gah!
