What a talent she was, I've been a fan since the mid 80's, I can't believe her life ended the way it did. Apparently her daughter left a hotel by ambulance, I hope things don't get worst. I hope she's at peace now. That voice...
Its interesting the parallels to Miss Judy Garland however Judy did not have an hard drug problem, Judy had prescription pill issues that started with her days at MGM with Mickey Rooney and what not.
He's being a gentlemen and he's from a different generation but he's always denied that the studio supplied Judy Garland with pills, if she was alive today...
Yes John, I think its interesting that Mickey Rooney is denying the fact that MGM supplied their stars with pills, uppers and downers but I think that people think that Judy Garland was this tragedy when she was not yes, her mother and the studio did supply her with pills and had a somewhat leash on her which Judy herself admitted and daughter Lorna Luft as well however Judy did not have a hard drug problem like coke, pot etc. Judy was not that kind of girl, she was very dignified not to say that Miss Whitney Houston was not.
I must interject for a moment. I decided to read the comments section today cause i was somewhat of a big Whitney fan in my youth, and she and her talent will be greatly missed. ...but for someone to comment that pot is considered a "hard" drug is completely ridiculous. ...and nieve enough to believe that some prescription drugs are not considered "hard" drugs just because they are prescribed?
thats a great picture to remember her by
