She's a good actress, so I'll give her the benefit of the doubt. I was pushing for Hailee, but I guess they want to make this a little older. Honestly, I've never read the books so my opinion is stupid. I'd like to see Josh Hutcherson in there now.
The decision to cast the “older” Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss, instead of a mid-teenager like Hailee Steinfeld, definitely improves Hunter Parrish's chances of getting the Peeta role. I’d be fine w/Josh Hutcherson, too. He’s been excellent in everything I’ve seen him do.
I’ve never been v impressed by Alex Pettyfer, though. Don’t think he’s right for the role.

If I can't have Hailee because she's too young, I'll settle for Jennifer Lawrence.
ReplyDeleteAnd while Hunter Parrish is the frontrunner for Peeta according to everything I've read this week, I still contend that he'd make a better Finnick.
