hmmmm... I don't remember the TV scene (last frame) from the original, but I remember it from the remake. (I'm not saying you're mistaken, of course, after all you captured the frames yourself; I'm just saying I can't remember the damn frame for the life of me. guess I'll have to watch it once again).
The TV's in the scene where the reporter lady - can't think of her name - and her camera-man are looking for the keys in the landlord's apartment. The camera doesn't linger there or anything, it's just seen in passing.
