Haven´t seen the movie but the images really reminded me of Bradbury´s novel (which is awesome)!
Agreed about Bradbury's book, anon, which is much better than the movie really. But I do like the movie a lot. It captures a lot of the feel of it, even if it never quite matches the scariness of it.
I like the movies for so many reasons--not least because the town librarian is both informed and brave.
