MAD MAX! Vroooooooom! (I think I like MM more than Road Warrior b/c it's a straightforward cop-revenge movie and it hasn't been overloaded with a lot of Joseph Campbell nonsense...)
I love MM too and was going to agree, but then I realized it's been a really really long time since I'd watched RW so I figure I oughta see that again before making such BOLD claims.
Anyway the only thing that really matters now is that Tom Hardy's outfitted the same way in the fourth film, in tight black leather. It just wouldn't be a Mad Max movie without it!

Correct, Ivan!

Yep, BOLD claims 'r us! (But I make it as an owner of both films, watched a gazillion times each--and MM is the one that satisfies me more)
ReplyDeleteOh dear...I hadn't even had a chance to imagine Tom Hardy all Mad-Maxed out...ummmm, that would be quite a sight...one I very much hope we get to see!
ReplyDeleteI don't like the first one tbh. Road Warrior, on the other hand, is a masterpiece.
