Thank Spike Almighty the Where the Wild Things trailer is here at last! Watch it over at Apple. And here's a slew o' the screen-grabs per my usual racket.
Well I had to watch it without sound and from what I hear the Arcade Fire music accompanying it is reeeally beneficial to its mood so I don't really feel as if I've really watched it yet either, mike, if that caveat makes you feel any better. ;-)
I actually did feel a bit choked up, which is odd. I rarely have such a reaction to a trailer.
Love it. Love the images and the music and it really does look like Jonze has done the story proud. I just hope that the trailer is representative of the studio letting him make the movie he wanted and that the movie itself hasn't been butchered.
Damnit, this is the third place I've seen this linked to and I can't watch it till I get home from work. It's like having bugs under my skin!

I've seen a lot of people complaining about this looking like it's made for hipsters. Is it the music? Why do I even bother thinking about his?
